Paradigm Welcomes Kristine Odegaard, BS, MA, NCGC-II & Equine-Assisted Therapy

It isn't often that Paradigm Life Coaching Solutions brings on a new staff member. We are often approached by life coaches and recovery/sober coaches, however in most cases they do not possess sufficient training and expertise. One of the main elements that sets Paradigm apart is just that, our level of training and expertise. That said, we are very excited to announce the addition of our newest life & recovery coach, Kristine Odegaard, BS, MA, NCGC-II & Equine-Assisted Therapy.

Based out of Minnesota's Twin City area, Kristine brings a wealth of passion, expertise and depth to the Paradigm lineup. Kristine has over 20 years of experience providing mental health counseling and addiction treatment for adults and families. She focuses on empowering the individuals she works with to facilitate growth and desired change. Her professional work experience includes addiction treatment, employee assistance, psycho-education, and private practice, which combine to create a unique holistic treatment experience. Her specialties include addiction therapy, compulsive gambling, co-occurring disorders, equine-assisted psychotherapy, and career counseling.

Ms. Odegaard has presented on compulsive gambling and addiction topics at the local, state and national levels. She incorporates a variety of holistic tools, which include breath work, mindfulness, relaxation and meditation techniques and labyrinth walks. She also has done volunteer work with probation and restorative justice circles, as well as serving as co-facilitator for numerous groups and workshops on a variety of topics.

Ms. Odegaard resides in Lake Crystal, MN with her husband and has two grown sons. When not working, Ms. Odegaard enjoys traveling, fishing, horseback riding, movies and crossword puzzles.
